Does anyone know the average costs or range of costs for orthognathic surgery, assuming I paid out of pocket? I live in Austin, TX if that helps, but the average for anywhere will help.

Well I didn't want the average for a particular kind of orthognathic surgery, so 2,000-20,000 is a proper response.

My daughter had this surgery. There were costs to the surgeon, hospital, anesthesia. The hospital alone and she didn't stay but 23 hours which is considered outpatient was $27,000 this is not the surgeon's bill which was another $2000.
