They should get along, but only if YOU are certain to be the 'boss' right from the beginning..Break up any squabbles as soon as there is even a growl, or hackles standing..When that happens, put both dog in a sit-stay immediately..Get that obedience training down pat..as in going through the basic commands during every TV commercial..Require them to 'sit' before putting down their food dish, and pick it up as soon as they are finished (about 5 minutes)
AND, it would REALLY help if they are both neutered..Pheromones from females are in the air, and they will pick up the scent and become testy with each other any time there is a female in heat walking near your home, or in your neighborhood..Neutering will prevent that from affecting them..

actually it depends on the way they were raised. since they are so young you have a chance. however if you get the second there could be a little jealousy from the first. you could try a little extra hugging and nuturing will go a long way. try taking them both to a doggy park and playing equally with the both of them. also before you ever buy a second pet you should have them play together alone and with you as well. i am a huge fan of pits and own 7 of them ranging from very little to really big lol. but really they are great pets but would not reccommend them for first time pet owners. they are bery high maintenance and have a lot of energy. so the answer to your question would be test them with eachother with toys, food, yourself, treats, ect. you will be amazed at what two pits turn into from your first. everything doesnt just double its like having 5 4 year olds. i would suggest to you to buy a book on raising pits at your local pet store. they are filled with information. as to the ideot that said get them nuetered. this is not the case. if you have two uneutered males in the same home its not that big of a deal they can get along and be best friends. if you aren't wanting to breed them later on then i would suggest that you neuter them. good luck with the babes and hope you make the right decision for you and the dogs.

I would say that if the puppies are 1 year or older that this behavior should stop. I know 2 weimaraner that continue this behavior and the smaller one did get his face ripped open. Go online and look up body language of dogs. It will help you to know when the playing is serious and when its still play. Ex. hair standing up on the dogs' back would be an aggressive behavior (the dog is trying to look bigger) but if your dog has his front legs laying flat on the ground ( or are very close ) with the butt and tail in the air - then that is harmless play. Always watch all 3 dogs though because one might be playing when the other(s) are being aggressive.

Getting them neutered will definitely cut down on the testosterone, but there will be a dominance struggle. It would happen if they were both female too. To counter the struggle you need to help by instilling which one will be dominant early. Pick one (preferably the one you already have) and always feed it first, always give its treats first, always let it in the house first, do everything with him first and the other will naturally fall into the roll as well.
If they aren't over bread your pits should be no more aggressive towards each other and other people than your average dog.

Not a good idea! They'll probably be fine as youngsters but even neutered you may have problems with them as they get older and become mature. Your best bet, if you feel you must have another puppy is to get a female. However, I don't recommend adding another puppy, at this age, no matter what the breed. They will bond to each other and not you. Unfortunately, you will miss out on the wonderful bonding you can get with the puppy you already have. A one pup, one person bonding is much stronger and you will have more time to enjoy and train your puppy. You two can become the dynamic duo joined at the hip! Won't happen with two puppies! Good Luck and puppy kisses.

Sometimes they will and sometimes they won't. Depends on how long they were raised together. You may have to chain them up apart from each other or they may just get along fine. I have two pits in my back yard and 1/2 the time their either trying to kill ech other and the other 1/2 of the time their fine.
