First you'll need a 'ripper' to rip the copy protections off the dvd and copy it to the hard drive. DVD Shrink is the preferred choice. Next you'll need 'burning software' to burn the files to dvd. Your burner or computer should've came with this software (i.e. Nero, Sonic, Roxio). Yes, this sounds really simple and is a very simple theory. But, alas, making backup copies of dvds is a true GIFT FROM GOD.... so good luck! ;-)
