Neurological damage. It may progress with age. See your vet. My best friend lost her cat because it got bad for her. It can happen at any time. Sorry, but I don't want you to overlook the possibility, you know? Good luck. :-\

Definitely take him to the vet, but do get pet wipes.
The other thing you can do is get him a Brazilian.
That's what I do for one of my girls. She's overweight so she can't get back there like she should. And before I changed her diet, she had problems with loose stool. So I was always having to wipe her butt!
That's not really the way I like to spend my time, so I take her to a groomer and get her butt shaved. I have it shaved off between her legs starting right up near the tail, all the way down to include about a 1/3 of her belly.
It really helps a lot. I might still have to give her a swipe now and then, but at least I'm not also battling the fur (she's a long hair).

this made me cry.
what a cool person you are to give this wonderful kitty a home!
take the kitty to a vet, to make sure everything is ok.
they will have suggestions for you.
otherwise, keep some wet wipes close and help clean off the kitty whenever you need to.
you are so cool.

awww....poor kitty...his legs might not be able to bend properly due to the injury recieved from being thrown from the car. talk to the vet, they may have some advice for you. or you might want to look into buying some pet wipes, they are like baby wipes for pets to wipe his hind end if you want to devote that amount of time to him.

I would reccomend taking him back to the vet. There could be some type of injury that's causing him to not have control with his bladder or with his hips. If you can't take him to the vet soon, call them and just explain to them what's going on over the phone, and maybe they could give you some tips or insight as to what could be causing it. Good luck!!!

this could be rigidity proper habit. The barking dogs surely led to rigidity and different activities could be contributing to it besides. save an eye fixed out for different urine spots and sparkling them immediately with an enzyme cat urine cleanser out of your puppy shop. this could help avert the cat from thinking it extremely is a suitable area to urinate. you could additionally desire to %. up Feliway, a pheramore spray. After the urine is wiped sparkling, spray with the Feliway to extra deter the cat from urinating there returned. Feliway is used sparingly, like physique spray. the important element is to make certain if it extremely is an anomoly or a habit. If it is a habit, you ought to seek for suggestion out of your vet because it ought to be a urinary tract an infection, which cats are companies to getting.
