I have get a scrotal ultrasound to report back presence of hydrocele (mild). My doctor said nothing to worry about as it is still small. But I feel it slightly painful is the sense that burning pain moves through the testicle and up-right my hip, sometimes I feel pain in the groin, and the right infected testicle is harder than the left ; I feel it less lively than the other one. The doctor prescribed some antibiotics to eliminate any infection. Is it normal ?? Could ultrasound scan be wrong ?? PLz advise

It really is nothing to worry about. The pain will come and go until it doesn't bother you anymore. It's not cancer. If you are worried about that try shining a flashlight through it. It will be clear because it is a fluid filled sack. Nothing more. Cancer shows up dark instead of clear because it is tissue. You can still have kids, no problems. As a matter of fact I have a four month old. If the pain bothers you, masturbate to release the pressure. It does help believe it or not. I've been dealing with these since I was 18, ten years ago. Mine is about the size of a jellybean now. There is a surgery to remove them, but I'm not going to have it unless it starts bothering me. It's mostly just cosmetic. This is not a big deal.

Hydrocele is an anatomical defect where fluid from the peritoneal cavity leaks into the scrotum through an incompletely closed inguinal canal. Surgery is the only treatment, though there is a slight chance it will resolve on its own. The surgery is safe, routine and offers a complete and life long cure. Homeopathy is completely useless for this, or in fact, any condition. FYI..."allopathy" is incorrect and pejorative when used by Alties. There is no such thing as an allopath. The term was coined by the inventor of homeopathy, Samuel Hahneman. They were the doctors of 150-200 years ago who believed in balancing the four humors by bleeding and purging patients among other nasty, mystical things based on "ancient wisdom". In point of fact, the belief system of allopathy is much much closer to many of the mystical philosophies found in AltMed.

A hydrocele testis is an accumulation of clear fluid in the tunica vaginalis, the most internal of membranes containing a testicle. A primary hydrocele causes a painless enlargement in the scrotum on the affected side and is thought to be due to the defective absorption of fluid secreted between the two layers of the tunica vaginalis (investing membrane). A secondary hydrocele is secondary to either inflammation or a neoplasm in the testis.A hydrocele testis is an accumulation of clear fluid in the tunica vaginalis, the most internal of membranes containing a testicle. The accumulation can be a marker of physical trauma, infection or tumor, but the cause is generally unknown. Now about the pain, are you being paranoid or are you really feeling pain. Most hydroceles are painless. However your doctor prescribed antibiotics ( I would not have done that without a better reason than eliminate infection). There are three normal courses of treatment....Waiting to see if it becomes larger....Surgical drainage and finally surgical repair. I suggest being patient, and try not to worry so much...about 15% or more of babies are born with a hydrocele.

In hydrocele the only draw back in not getting operated is that it interferes with ur sex life. If ur patience is wearing out and u do not get relief after taking anti-biotics, get it operated.
