Correction, qz, beans are seeds. The pod is a fruit.
The fruit is the "container" for seeds, the vegetable would be any part of a plant that is not a fruit. Grapes are fruits, grape leaves are vegetables. Now stop bugging us intelligent and whacked out people with your homework problems, and learn to type legibly.

Basically, anything that has seeds is a fruit. Anything without seeds is a vegetable. That's all you need to know to tell the difference (there are common misconceptions about things like tomatoes).
