Most def. 2 10"s I mean 1 15" would be LOUD with the lows, but at the same time it would sound sloppier on the hits, plus 2 10"s can be REALLY loud, especially if you get a seperate box for each one and face them toward each other using the whole trunk as the space in between them...

is this a price issue or a space issue? if the issue is price, two 12" subs can cost the same as a single 15". but if the issue is space, then i guess having 2 12" might be out of the question. in my honest opinion, get the single 15" over the 2 10". a single 15" will play lower and it will play louder if you get a good sub (dont look to best buy or other similar stores for a good sub) and put it in a well designed box (no prefab aka no qlogic). a high quality sub will have pretty good response anyways and unless you want your bass extremely tight, it wont matter much.

Be more specific as to what you are looking for. If all you want is sq a good ten is all you might need. I know of tens that can sound louder than you can imagine so dont assume that because its a 10 it wont be loud. There are also 15's that sound very accurate. Look at Treo, RE, DD, Ascendant Audio, FI audio, AudioQue, IDMax for great sq and alot of output, and theres some more.

If you want bass that you can hear from almost blocks away get 15s but if you want solid bass say you are next your car you want 12s 10s are not recommended I own a shop and people rarely want 10s

2 10s. depending on the brand/woofer of each, the 10s should be louder, and they will sound a lot better.

What about 2-12s? But it all depends on what kind of subs? what kind of enclosure? what kind of car? which amp? what kind of music do you listen to? do you want more SQ or SPL or both?

Send me an email with those answers and I'll help you out.

20 in's vs 15 in's. In this case I'd say less isnt more!
