It isn't really harmful, but it would be better for him/her to eat like 5 or 6 small meals abt 3 or 4 hours apart - Kids that small don't have very big stomachs, so they can't eat a lot at one time - You also will avoid the fight over getting him/her to finish all the food on the plate - Just make sure to include protein, good carbs (like veggies and whole-grain pastas & breads, and try to avoid feeding a lot of refined flour products or foods that contain a lot of sugar. Become a label reader when you go grocery shopping - If you develop good eating habits for the child now, he/she will be healthier and stronger as an adult - Avoid junk foods and pop!

The best thing for your kid is to eat 5 times a day every 2-3 hours. Your kid probably tells you he is hungry ever 3 hours and need a small healthy snack. Most people do eat 3 meals a day or less and that is why 60% of Americans are overweight and obese. You feed babies throughout the day, kids throughout the day, and adults that want to be lean or stay lean need to eat throughout the day.

You're kidding, right? Do you only want him to eat Monday through Friday? If you can read, I'd suggest you get a book on parenting.

Unless u r coaxing him to eat more it is ok. He can, like animals, each as and when he feels hungry w/o if he is not asked/forced to eat when others are eating.

No, that's normal. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. It's only a problem if you over feed him / her. Or feed them too much junk food, sweets, or soda.
