It all depends on your age. It's you're under 18 and the other person is over 18 then it's bad, the law says you can't get intimate, even it's it's just a few months difference. But if you're both over 18 then you're both legally adults (at least that's the age of consent in California) and you can make your own decisions.

I say it depends on the age!

If your say 16 and he's 21 - then yes it is wrong and not a good idea.

BUT if your say 21 and he's 26 then it's different - you have developed a maturity level, and have a better understand of yourself!

I am 22, my b/f is 27 - it's great - but again we both know who we are and what we want in life.

No. My mom is 5 years older than my dad. They've been married for 22 years now.

as you get older, the age gap seems to be not so important. Like 20 and 25 or 35 and 40 etc... not an issue.
However I suspect that because you are asking, the age gap is, at this point in your life, inappropriate.

As someone said earlier, if you are over 18. I was 22 and my future husband was 27 when we met. Married at 23 & 28 almost 29 :). We have been married forever....26 years.

If your 18 or over and don't live with your folks then no. I am dating a girl who is 10 years older then me. I'm 24 and she is 34. She doesn't act like it though.

Personally, when I was 15, my boyfriend was 20 years older than me. My boyfriend now is 26, 8 years older than me. I would never date a guy was younger than me. It is all up to you though, I can't tell you what to or what not to do.

Not really, no. I was with someone who was about five years older than me. Our time together was brief, but we had some fun and enjoyed each other's company.

its dependin on your age...if you are minor and the person is a an adult then of course, but if you are legal age and that person is older than you then age don't matter at all...its just a number...i'm 26 and my boyfriend is 20...big age difference and there was problems at first, but now everything is fine and the relationship is great...so don't let age get to your happiness...enjoy life!
