My husband is getting ready to go into the army. Could someone tell me some of the exercises that they do.

Push-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, running, push-ups, more running, and, oh yes, more push-ups... Diamond push-ups, wide-arm push-ups, one-handed push-ups. They will make sure that by the end of basic/AIT, your husband can at least do a proper, military push-up. :)

My first PT test I did 22 push-ups. Three short months later I could do 57 in two minutes.

Good luck.

pushups. -----lots.
situps.
running ----lots of it.
flutter kicks.
front, back, go's (pushups, flutter kicks, jog in place)

many many others. but those are the main ones. pushups and flutterkicks are used a lot when you get "smoked" (punished).
