You can wash it and use conditoner or use wig shampoo. Do not use heat or a flat iron on it,it will burn since it's fake hair. Once the hair on a Barbie is frizzy it is pretty much kinda ruined and there is nothing you can do to make it silky again not unless you remove the old hair and put new hair in. There are web sites on refurbishing Barbie dolls.

It depends what age Barbie you are talking about. If it's a newer Barbie (by newer, I mean late 1970's on up) just shampoo and then condition with either regular hair conditioner or fabric softener, leave the conditioner on a while (a few hours or overnight) and then comb thru while the conditioner is still in. Then rinse gently and comb thru again. You can also use detangler if all of the frizzies didn't come out.

I have started using Isoplus Wig and Weave shampoo and conditioner for my dolls hair. It is made specially for synthetic hair. Leaves it soft and silky no matter how tangled. Also you could try washing the dolls hair in liquid dish soap and condition it with a bit of fabric softener diluted in very warm water. Either should work.

i dont know about barbie hair but for nappy and frizzie hair you should consider a perm relaxer.

How much worse could it get? I'd wash it with shampoo and use conditioner. Put in a detangler if you can, then comb it through when it's wet. And hey, since your already there, use a flat iron, or blow dry it..

haha, why not. GL

probably never, but you could try using a fabric softener or hair conditioner and combing it out carefully.

to brush it out and lay it flat.
