I've heard JW's are being persecuted because of the reaction to kingdom news no. 37. Is that true?

One Kingdom Hall was burned in Finland in 11th of October and same guy burned Lutheran Church 15th of October. He hasn't said any reason for those actions and not confessed that he did those things.
He has been visiting both places last summer and he tried to participate youth work in that Lutheran church. He was refused because they thought he was not suitable for youth work.

I haven't heard this, but Kingdom new 37 powerfully condemns false religion and it's rotten fruitage. Not surprisingly then wonton acts against Jehovah's true servants and His places of worship are to be expected, not just when delivering condemnatory leaflets but at anytime given the great anger Satans harbours at the nearness of the end of his system of things (Revelations 12:12).
Jehovah's organization will inform us regarding any new wave of persecution as it arises. It is stressful and distressing to worry about rumours and unclarified reports. If it is essential that you find out for sure, contact your local Kingdom Hall, the number is in the Phone book. Someone there will probably know how to contact the Branch Office in London or Finland.

Sorry, no Kingdom Halls have been burned here recently. No murders, assaults or any other atrocities either against JW's.

Now, I'm not a Jehovas Witness myself, but I'm a Finn, and I would know about this kind of things. Finland is one of the most religiously tolerant countries, so I have no idea where you got those "news".

Where did you hear this info? Is it the news? That's pretty interesting if it's true.
