When we are notorious for going along with it anyway?
We complain about the indecency in the media, but we still pay ten bucks to go to the movies.
We pay 30 bucks for cable, but we cringe when a church asks us for a donation.
We talk about how bad homosexuality is, then we watch TV shows that glamourize gay men.

Should we be judged by our words, or by our deeds?

Good question. I make an effort to not participate in those things that promote values I do not believe in. It can be difficult however, especially with TV. Sometimes I have to stop and think about the content and the message. And I never cringe when asked for a donation.

The media issues have to do with the lack of diverse and in depth reporting of the news - not the type of entertainment people are viewing. Btw, homosexuality occurs naturally throughout the animal kingdom.

Why not instead open your mind to the diverse nature of the world and be upset about the extremely limited amount of thoughtful and unbiased reporting now found in established American media (i.e. TV, radio, and print). In other words, why not put you deeds to work on issues of substance instead of focusing on sensorship and judging peaceful people just because they are not like you.

Deeds. A lot of people profess to be Christian and yet their actions show otherwise.

All, unfortunately, very true.

As you may already know this apostacy is prophesied to occur...so know that the return of the Lord is nigh and rejoice.

By our actions - great point!
Talk is cheap!
We have to live the life we know through faith - or it loses it's power.
