Nope, I think that one applies to almost anything.

I think the F word is used too often, and that it takes the place of some really good nouns and verbs.

A shock is an unpleasant or disappointing surprise.
You can be offended, disgusted, appalled, horrified, revolted, nauseated, sickened, or scandalized, to name a few.

An outrage is a feeling of righteous anger.
You can be shocked, indignant, infuriated, stricken with disgust or revulsion, incensed, and exasperated.

It sounds so much better than being "F'ing pissed off." Plus, it doesn't instantly degrade the speaker the way the F word does.

I never thought the F word was a "bad" word.

Rape
Child abuse
mysogyny
poverty
indifference
cruelty
torture
oppression
slavery

those are bad words... their concepts are outrageous and shocking.

Words are just words and it's dumb to let supposed "bad words" offend you. I do however find it sad that some people have such limited vocabulary that they have to express themselves by using such word about 5 times in a sentence.

That is still a bad word. And its demeaning to those who say it and those who have to hear it. Just because its common doesn't mean its ok; it just means that peoples stander of self respect is lower.

There are plenty more left. If the list gets short, someone will come up with new ones.

A word is only bad if you make it so.

I think the 'F' word is the most underappreciated word out there!

To me, the F word is still offensive, I wouldnt use it in front of my parents if they were still alive.
The "C" word is still offensive, and very often misused: why would you call someone who pulls out in front of you in traffic "Stupid female genitalia!!!!" it is putting women down!
