When I click on certain links (*MOST* of them) on the internet, my internet locks up. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Del, send error report. Microsoft says the error reports help them improve - bull. They haven't improved since the company started. But what could be going wrong. I have Comcast High Speed Internet. Any help???

You say IE7 sucked, but did you ever take the time to figure out exactly what sucked about it? Listen, IE7 is more secure, and more stable, plus integrates a number of OS fixes. Why on earth would you want to back away from that?

I downloaded and installed IE7 on day 1. The only thing that sucked about it was that it followed the rules too good. Some websites that are POORLY written to not show up well on 7. IE6 could compensate for bad design. Firefox doesnt compensate either. I design websites using Dreamweaver 8 which is based on WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Trust me - I cannot be lazy on page design at all.

My suggestion to you: Do a system restore to the day BEFORE you installed IE7. Once you boot up, IMMEDIATELY run the IE7 installer. DO NOT LAUNCH IE6 before you do this, because 6 will try to "fix" some things, and you dont want it to. Once you have 7 running, figure out what sucks and post another question.

By the way, if you are going to say that its slow, try turning off the phishing feature.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
