And we are both in our mid 20's (I'm moving out next yr., so is he). When is the appropriate time to meet each other's parents? I have already met his sister and brother in law. Any thoughts? Or is it just when we both feel it is time?

When he feels it's right, he'll introduce you. I would not take it personal if it's not anytime soon though. Men are pretty "stupid" when it comes to relationships. They don't think the same, or as far in the future, or sometimes, that "meeting the sister " is a big deal. 7 week is a good start, it says a lot that you made it this far and met someone in the family, it just might be "happily ever after...." I think if you dig deep down into your gut, you know if he REALLY likes you, or not...but for guys, I don't think the "meeting the parents" thing is as big of a deal.

I would say it would be cool to do that during the holidays which are coming up. Do you live in the same town as they do? Maybe your bf would suggest it first. I think if you suggest it though he might view that as somewhat "pushy" or like you think it is more serious than it is. Guys sometimes get weird about things like that. Good luck and happy holidays!!!

Meet the folks when you both feel comfortable--you will know...In my case, my boyfriend met my parents on our first date seven months ago!

Meet his parents sometime before Christmas because Christmas brings people together. You can get them small, inexpensive gifts so that they don't feel uncomfortable in accepting them.

Yes, when you feel that its time. Because of modern society, its becoming less important as to rules of conduct when dealing with matters like these.
