Yeah, I hate that. A couple days ago a girl posted a question here about her brother who died a couple years ago, and more than one Christian actually said, "Sorry, your brother is in Hell because he was an atheist. That's just the way it is. I didn't write the rules." I really couldn't believe it. Obviously that's a load of crap, but even if I DID believe that, I wouldn't tell that to someone who's grieving. Talk about insensitive... jeez.

Christians really milk to death that concept of "Hell." If anything, they should stop trying to speak for God and let him decide where people are going to end up. If I'm really destined for eternal punishment, I don't want a third party telling me my fate; let me talk with the big guy himself, thank you very much.

Ah, one of the many things I hate about fellow Christians.

Because you know, darling, that you either agree with them or you're seriously demented. Why do you think so many Christians follow each other so closely? Christianity has turned into a contest to see how many people can think exactly like you.

Of course, the beauty of this is that Christians can have many different views on similar things. Abortion, homosexuality, etc all are important and vary between sects.

And yes, I am a Christian. I am an OPEN minded Christian.

That is not true at all. The bible says that God is longsuffering, wishing for no one to perish, but for all to come to repentence. If Christians didn't care about other people's eternal destination, they would not take the time to talk about forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ.

They want to feel special. I have seen that posted on here hundreds of times. The Bible-thumpers really get off on that.

This site I believe is to get information for good use. What kind of knowledge do you want to gain by asking all such kind of questions. Seems you are an anti-christain. Remember all religions are sacred and learn to respect them as you respect yours & do not draw your own conclusions or get carried away by loose talks.

No we do not love the idea . It is not for us to say who goes and who does not go to hell, God is the only one who decides that. Who knows because the Bible says that some that we think will be there in Heaven may not be and some who we think will never will be there will be !

Simple, by seeing people in suffering, they see themselves in all their glory. That or they are a sadistic bunch
