people say that they are not racist, but if in a park at 8pm, and two white dudes come near you and start to ask you directions, dressed bad, or the same 2 dudes are black?? please tell me that you would not have more fear with the black brothers instead of the white ones. we all have it in us? who dis agrees?

over halloween weekend, 2 white girls were beat up really bad in Long Beach, CA by 10 black guys. One girl suffered skull fractures in 4 different places.- didn't hear about it did you? Now if it was 10 white guys beating up 2 black girls, it would've made national news within minutes. That's what pisses me off.
There's good & bad in all types, but I'd be wary about any guys approaching me in a park late at night. In fact, I wouldn't be in a park at that time, I'd probably be doing homework.- so let the scum kill each other off!

I would be scared of both of the groups because they are some crazy people in the world and most serial killers are white. There are many things that play a role in racism. Some people have experienced bad things with a certain race and hold a grudge for the rest of their lives. If you look up the N word in the dictionary it is white trash and their are alot of white ones and black ones.

I try not to be racist. I think I would have more fear of the black men just because of the stereotype placed on black men. The news seems to show more crimes committed by black men. I have severals friend that are black men and have no problem with them. Its not about black or white, but more about how a person presents themself. If they are polite it doesn't matter what the color of their skin is.

If the person was a women she would have fear just because of them being men. If it was a old white man being asked for direction he would probably be in fear with both nationalites because of the fact that their both in groups of twos if the guys were younger. If the 2 men were black with du rags on their head and baggy pants asking for directions i would be scared me being mixed because im a women. If two white guys came up to me and they had on makeup spiked hair nails painted black as if they just came from a marlyn manson concert id be scared chitless. Whose to say one way of look is scarrier then then the other based on nationalities. Sorry to say but i DISAGREE

If I'm in a park after 8pm and it's dark and I'm alone, I'd be scared if anyone came near me. You just can't trust people anymore because of a few bad apples, it doesn't matter their skin color.

But there's not much worry there, I'd never be in a park at 8pm by myself.

if any of them were dressed in hoodies or long white tees and jeans i think anyone would be freaked out. Some things are class issues, not race. Racism would be if you passed a person of another race wearing a suit on your way to a resturant who was smiling and laughing and otherwise ignorning you and you thought that they were obviously unable to afford the suit and shouldn't be there, or were obviously very smart and must be meeting business associates, or whatever. blanket assumations based on color of skin is one thing. assumtions based on clothing or other factors which are changeable are different.

By me being a woman, and someone came to me late at night for directions, I would be scared, no matter what he was wearing, Prada or Payless , Black or White. And no I don't have it in me.

If anyone came near me at 8pm in a park I would be freaked out. It doesn't matter what they wear or what their skin color is. It would scare me no matter who it was.

I disagree, I wouldn't be at a park at 8pm, I'd be at home getting my kids ready for bed. You can't be too careful with ANYONE these days at ANY time of the day.
