i just got a letter inthe mail today saying that my daughter got approved for SSI, i was wondering how much money she would be getting a month, she is only 5

each state is different, but here in CA you get 722.00 and if you can't work do to your child's illness there is a program that pays you (in home services i think) and they pay you from the day you applied so you get back pay

Isn't SSI for mentaly ill people?And you care about the amout of money?
