For a law abiding citizen, simply amazing. You can teach in english in China, do banking in switzerland, buy german beer, and relax at tropical beaches all in a week and without having to pay the political mafias we call governments.

This would be your worst nightmare! Really, just think about it for a moment and read some of the rational answers you got to your question. You are seriously living in a dream world if you think that a world without borders would be a "good" thing. Maybe, a world without religion would be a better option. Because, I'll tell you right now that in a world without borders, we would all be living like the Iraqi's under Saddam Hussein!

First I recommend we all wear a full body of armor to protect against being cut by those who carry machettes around, women should wear chasity belts with double locks cause I believe rape would be as common as being whistled at and no longer against the law. And wear masks at all times to guard against breathing in germs.

Our current open borders have allowed many diseases to return and even added some new ones. Can you imagine what it would be like if people from hundreds of other countries could casually enter this country in large numbers daily whenever they feel like it, like Mexico does? I don't even want to think about it.

Global open borders would compound problems. There was a time this country checked people out before they were let loose in our communities, which made me feel secure and compelled to give a hearty welcome to all immigrants.

Open borders is the same as leaving your front and back door open to anyone who feels like eating at your table or sleeping in your bed. With open borders you never know what kind of scum you'll be forced to tolerate.

No social plans for each country. . . Poverty would be through the roof. Many countries would collapse due to non payment of taxes (how do you collect taxes from those that are not in the country?). And how does one define a country's boundries if there are no borders?

Basically, there would be a government-less (sorry if that isn't a word) world, and it would be anarchy. Not exactly the kind of place I want my daughter to be living in. . .

Stop reading the Care Bear books - no real world is all "wine and roses". . .

Taking this philosophically, the world already exists without borders because man made those borders in the first place. Its not like there is some invisible fence that split between Delaware and New Jersey. There's only man made fences between countries anyway.

You mean one world government, or a world without laws or ethics. I am not smart enough to know what you are talking about, sorry.
