Hydrogen Peroxide(in the little brown bottle) is another way to whiten teeth. Do you swish the hydrogen peroxide in your mouth after you brush your teeth, before you brush your teeth or it really doesn't matter?

Straight Peroxide..No..Noooo....Nooooooo!!! If you accidently swallow any of it, you'll be calling poison control. Peroxide, is a germ fighting agent. And it CAN/WILL eat at your tissue, if used at full strenght. NEVER use full strenght for whitening!

BUT, a mixture of Peroxide and water..Yes! Another option to whiten teeth.. baking soda and water. Make it pasty and then brush. BOTH ways can help lighten your teeth.

DONT EVER mix the two chemicals... thats never a good idea. Just brush with one.. if you dont like the results after about a months time.. then try the other. Both options work, but they take time. You wont see a change right off the bat.

Another option.. come into a office, we'll bleach them for you. OR.. we can give you a bleaching agent to do at home.

Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe or shower.) No more canker sores and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash. Also, let your toothbrushes soak in a cup peroxide to keep them free of germs.

But remember to use the 3% solution: Not the 35%. Hydrogen peroxide can be harmful if swallowed. Drinking the concentrated solutions sold in some health food stores (35%, or "food grade" hydrogen peroxide) can cause vomiting, severe burns of the throat and stomach, and even death.

Dip your toothbrush into the peroxide then into some baking soda. makes a clumpy paste on the bristles. brush with it as if it were toothpaste. i don't know how well it will work. but that's the recipe. Good luck!

i pour some on the brush and then sprinkle on some baking soda and brush away and spit don't swallow.
rinse. don't do this too often its harsh on the gums.

but the dentist and some store bought things... there are reports some are too too strong and can leave peoples teeth looking almost blue!
straight baking soda WILL DO IT MORE SLOWLY BUT SAFER.

If you are going to do this, you will want to dilute the solution in water. I would not suggest taking it in its original form as it could harm you. Brush first, swish and spit, then rinse with fresh water. Take care not to swallow any as it is poisonous.

Pour some on your toothbrush, mix with baking soda and brush. It may taste nasty but it's great for your teeth.
