Laylo Q, How can the people possibly be the wrong color for the most part they were from that region??

I thought Mel did a great job, it was a lot less graphic then the real thing. If he would have been true to detail they would not have even allowed it into theaters. The Bible says they beat Him beyond recognition as a man. Also when He was on the cross He was totally naked. I thought the whole thing with Satan among the crowd at the mock trial and the garden was brilliant. I think one of my favorite parts of the whole movie was when Jesus and Simon locked arms when carrying the cross, it shows that Jesus is always with his people. I own the movie and every time I watch it God reveals something new to me.

It's been on cable. I have a hard time watching it, I can never look at the entire scene where He is beaten nearly to death. When I saw it in the theater, I had an incredible experience...I came out of that theater feeling born again all over again. I think it was a masterpiece of film making, and when I watch it, there is something new about Jesus I learn, every time.

I also thought the scenes with Pilate were brilliant. The actor who portrayed him perfectly captured how puzzled this man must have been about those who so desperately wanted Jesus dead.

It tells us how much God Loves us, to send his only Son to be beaten tried for our sins.

The Passion the Love God has for his children a small part of that was portrayed in the movie. If only everyone knew how much he loves us. God Bless. Love.

It was amazing. It really put into perspective what Christ really went through for us. And yet this movie doesn't even capture half of what He might have gone through.

Good acting by the guy who played Christ. Other than that not much.

It was cruel, but I think our human minds cannot comprehend the sufferings of Christ

Christ was a fierce warrior--he will have a place in the elysian fields as his reward--Praise Hera!

I never went to see it. I didn't have any interest in Mel Gibson's version of life 2000 years ago, because you can be sure it wasn't accurate
