Not all the categories are like that. I have asked many questions about science, law, history, etc and gotten lots of good information.
But, as the others pointed out, this is the religious forum. And for every religious zealot, there is another atheistic zealot ready to pounce on them. It goes back and forth.
I come here for the few honest questions that get posed. And sometimes I'm able to give helpful answers or advice. But I have to admit, I do get sucked into answering the stupid questions along the way.
Is there some kind of "Yahoo Answerer Anonymous"?

For myself I would say its more the opposite... turning into a blog of ever anti-religious zealot in the world. Very few questions here are actually questions about spirituality and religion... most are simply bashing statements and "what if" and attempts to slam people for their faith.
Rarely do we actually get to see someone ask a serious honest question and not recieve bashing answers.

Its sad that people who do not want to learn about faith; instead of finding other places to post feel the need to simply bash those who do. What they dont realize is they simply prove the prophecies of Jesus Christ to be the truth we have always known them to be.... for example:
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

God bless you will be keeping you in prayer

Cool, our own internet Church~ its all good because we are supposed to gather in His name~

soooo, since YOU are in our Church ...
here goes my sermon:

"Jesus Loves You" seems to anger people who do not believe yet. It is a cliche phrase which gains few into the fold. However, IT MAY be JUST THE RIGHT time to say it so that the seed planted to remind that very person may grow to a new understanding. If it is in your heart to say it, ~NOT just as a defense,~ but because YOU want the other person to feel better then say it.

SO I WILL. Jesus LOVES YOU~

I think there are :
1)Christian wannabees that antagonize just because they "do not get it" but wish they did.
2)There are Christians that are Christians because mom and dad are,
3) then there are Christians who have LIFE altering events that CONVINCE us that Mom and DAD were RIGHT.
This 3rd stage is when you are grateful your faith has seen you thru yet again and you actually KNOW and FEEL the blessings from Jesus being sacrificed for us. At this point it is HARD to NOT do right by others. Hard to keep quiet about GODS LOVE.
But EACH person has their own defining moment of "I get it".

It is hard to convince others of Christ and God if they are to miserable to believe in something greater than themselves. When ourselves feel miserable,,,,,OURSELVES are NOT able to handle everything because we learn that NO OTHER human cares ENOUGH to really help us thru hard times. They have their OWN hard times.
All help I have EVER RECIEVED has had one thing in common... FAITH in GOD and willingness to HELP others.
Let your curiosity be YOUR own PERSONAL guide to find the comfort known to Christians.

Peace
