This is the hardest and yet the most simple of all questions. You must believe in the lord Jesus Christ, and that God has raised him from the dead and you shall be saved! Romans 10:9 says " If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved" and Romans 10:13 " For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" and the ever present John 3:16 for God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him WILL be saved" Romans 4:7 & 8 " blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven and whose sins are covered, blessed is the man to whome the Lord shall not impute sin." Sin is all that seperates us from God, all you must do is ask Him to forgive you of that sin and repent ( turn away from) that sin. everyone has sinned, Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" He has already paid the price for your sin ,Romans 6:23 " The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life" all you have to do is accept that gift, believe in Him and you will obtain eternal life!! I believe that yes, we can gain eternal life and we can be in heaven forever. The answer you seek is in the first four chapters of the New Testament of the Bible. It tells us that no one can do enough good things or do one thing good enough to earn our way into heaven. There is absolutely no way you can work your way into God's favor and earn a spot in heaven.
However, the good news is that God did send His son, Jesus Christ. Everyone on earth has done something bad in their life, called "sin", and even if it is very little, and there is a consequence for it. God sent Jesus to take those consequences. By praying to God and saying that you believe Jesus died on the cross for you, that he rose again three days later, and you would like for him to come into your life and transform you and forgive you for "sin" you can accept the gift of eternal life that God gives.

We can live eternally in heaven as our home after our death if
1)during our life in this uneternal world we always obey to the God's instructions by conducting it well and avoiding all God's prohibitions.
2)if something wrong has been done we ask for God foregive-
ness and we do not make the same silly acts.
3)if we do unconvenient act or mistakes to others we should ask for forgiveness to others and promise not doing the same thing.

By keeping the Lords commandments and statutes and ordinnaces, by keeping his feast and his holy days. I am a christian and I read the book most chritians would tell you that you don't have to keep the law, most christians don't read the book and if they do they mis understand it. I attend chrch on the sabath day and do thus saith the Lord. This thing was intended for all men but some people just don't get it.

Heaven is God's home. I believe eternal life will happen regardless. You have two choices either 1) you accept God's FREE gift of salvation in Jesus Christ and Heaven is where you will spend eternity - or - 2) you reject God's FREE gift of salvation in Jesus Christ and Hell is where you will spend eternity. However, simply asking God for salvation by accepting faith in Jesus Christ is not where it stops; your life must change and your works will testify to your faith.

Yahweh says to believe in him and the one he sent. He also says to remember his commandments all 613. This comes with repent and confession.
