Of course we are all equal! The problem is that due to media, there are many that belive that the majority of Americans dont like illegal immigrants, when in reality they are the minority, and are just really loud with their opinions. The truth is that illegal immigrants help our economy in a great way, and if we did a massive deportation we would only be hurting ourselves! A wall never makes a great neighbor. America already looks snobby to the world, we are making ourselves look like we think we are superior, when in reality, most of us are too intelligent to actually claim that we are superior! We are just people with the American dream, like anyone else, we are being portrayed very badly, and can correct that easily if we try. My suggestion is that we fix immigration first, then we will lower the amount of illegal immigrants (making Republicans happy) and aid the economy (making the Democrats happy) and allow more legal immigrants in (making the rest of the world happy).

Would you apply this to all people who have broken the law. Such as anyone in prison for using a fake soc sec number will be free all is forgiven. There are more crimes than just sneaking over the border.Much of that is document fraud. We are just not living a perfect world there are checks and balances we live by.It is 2006 and it's up to Mexico to provide their people a better life not us

If you are willing to admit that illegals are to blame, then that is half the battle.
We are equals in this world, but that has nothing to do with legal citizenship.
To be a part of America, you need to play by the rules. That's want Americans want.
And as for helping each other, that would be a switch from just helping yourselves...

we are social animals and social animals have kinds of behaviour that facilitate co-operation and violence avoidance with of their herd or p.c... we've an similar instincts, yet as our brains are far extra state-of-the-artwork so are our social structures and so we make complicated guidelines and codes of behaviour to regulate us. We experience responsible because we do not continually keep on with the letter of the code or guidelines inspite of our instincts to take action, that is natures way of putting us decrease back on the social song. the excellence between insanity and those with finished psychological faculties, is an major one. we are not born with finished understanding of the social code we are born into (they decision from society to society) purely with the instincts to conform to at least one. Punishment can function retribution and as a practise device, we experience they must be measured out rather. the position the criminal does not manage to appreciate their movements, punishment as a practise device can be a waste of time.

As human beings yes we are all created equal.
As citizens, no we are not. Illegal immigrants should adapt to the American way of life, learn to speak English and become a US citizen by going through propper channels then they will be equal to other Americans!!

there is a Mexican family living down the road from me. they are legal. there is another Mexican family 3 miles down the road they to are legal. i would help them if they need my help. it would be so much better if they was all legal. you have to remember, the illegals marched, and demanded things, they burned are American flag. disrespected America. not easy to forget or forgive. they need to be the ones to apologies, not you. you seem to be to intelligent to do what they did. if they would not of done all this, we Americans would not be so angry at them.
if you want peace on this forum. then tell that idiot Pamela v to stop being so damn critical. she wants to be here but puts the Americans down. she sets a good example of what I'm talking about.
and to you. if i have said anything to offend you i apologies. don't take it to heart, blowing off steam from peoples ignorance, like Pamela's. America, freedom of speech.

You are right.. it is time for all the PEOPLE to work together. And to do that, we need to keep a very close watch on our politicians.. they are not all honourable people and after getting elected forget just why they are sent to Washington. We have to remind them all the time...Each of us must make them accountable to us... WE THE PEOPLE.. not to their own wants or desires.. they are simply tools sent to govern for the rest of us. Americans are very powerful... we just saw that and I give all kinds of credit to those who voted Republican last time for recognizing that this government was not healthy for us... and for changing their votes and making the change. Good for you.. every one of you.
Now lets all help to get our country back on track. Bush is going to have to work with all of us now.. not just with a few.

These people are so comfortable in the country that their forefathers built for them that they can't stop to consider how uncomfortable that change and transition must have been for the Native Americans when the wave of white immigrants came in. Are we so naive to think they didn't care that our ancestors came over and took their land and killed their families and the ones who survived were herded like cattle down the Trail of Tears to reservations? It was a wave of immigration similar to the one we are seeing today. White people just seem to believe that their self-righteous power and their make-it-up-as-we-go laws should apply to everyone just because they are written on a piece of paper. The Native Americans had their owns laws and code of ethics and it was instilled in each one of them negating the need to write them down. That, as noble as it was, seems to be the white man's justification for their downfall. Perhaps those who can't adjust should migrate back home to Europe.
