Situation: As a Buddhist in Tibet you are confronted with violence by the red army everyday, how it is possible for you to be in non-violent?

...who said they are still confronted with violence by the red army? The buddhists in tibet have tv coverage, China won't be that stupid, however the red army IS killing little kids at the border of tibet for target practice.

Similarly, how can the martyrs of Christendom still preach their Greatness of God when they are being stoned/burnt/torture. By being strong in their faith, a faith that emphasizes on the good and peace of the world. You will understand that those that are violent have yet to understand the Greater Truth.

Elimination of anger is a Buddhist practice.

well they know how to forgive right? Doesn't matter what others do to you as long as you know you are right and can forgive. Peace is the greatest weapon.
