Will you PLEASE lay off about that already. You know it gets very tiresome to see 30 threads a day about how atheists are just going to go to hell. And no, I don't mean from you. There's always someone posting that. And if you're asking if all Christians think Atheists are going to hell... don't you think it's a no brainer that they think that?

To any really Christian this is an easy answer. Of course they won't go to heaven. That is to say the Christian heaven. Which according to my beleifs is the only heaven. The only way to go to heaven is to accept Jesus Christ as your savior. Most of everyone are aware of the Ten Commandments. They are a list of sins. According to the Bible if you sin you will go to Hell. Since everyone has sinned (yes its true you have) everyone will go to hell. But that brings the significants of Jesus. He is a sinless man who died and took the punishment for every sin you have commited, only if you beleive that he did die for you on the cross. There is a good analogy i know. Your judgement in front of God is like a court hearing. The evidence is a book that tells the story of your life, of all your sins. Well basicly if you believe Jesus to be your savior Jesus takes your book cover and places it on his book, and puts your book under his conver, making it seem as if you have a not sinned. He takes your sins for you. He is the ultimate sacrafice. So there is no way a Atheist can go to heaven, the above way is the only way.............................I always wondered, should atheists beleive in heaven or hell because they have no religion..but thats a whole nother point.

Dear Atheist Eye Candy-
Firstly it really isn't about what we think it is about what God says in the bible. He is the only one who can judge the heart of man.
And secondly I wonder if an atheist, would by the very definition of atheism, believe in heaven and hell. If you believe in heaven and hell, then there may be some hope that you would believe in God.
Anyway here is what God says in the bible:
Jesus is the Way to eternal life with God in heaven. Atheists who don't believe in God or Jesus will then go to hell according to the bible. This also applies to posers who say they are Christians but are not following Christ. It also applies to any non-believers, so this isn't an "Atheist-vs-Christian" debate. This is what the bible says. There are some interesting answers calling us "bible thumpers" etc.. What are we to quote, but the bible?
But wait there's more:
2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
OK so if you are concerned about where you will spend eternity, then if you "...seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul." Deuteronomy 4:29
I hope to see you in heaven some day. Take care for now.

The bible says those who believe in Jesus will be saved and those who believe not will be condemned....so yes according to the bible atheists will go to hell. But God has made a way of escape for us....his son Jesus. He was crucified for all of humanity. He was dead and God the father raised him from the dead. If you have a bible, read the gospels (Matt., Mark, Luke John...also read the book of Romans) and ask God to reveal himself to you. Be sincere, and he'll do it. I will be praying for you.

atheists who have no belief in God because they haven't had access to Him will most likely be determined by the life they lived. it doesn't seem quite fair to be tossed aside because you are in unwilling ignorance. (but i'm not God so who knows). Atheists who reject God will probably go to hell. However, after we die we are laid to rest, and only later will be all be judged. I'm sure there's a lot of factors we'll be judged on.

Watch - they're going to cast stones and crucify you. It's kind of fun though to read the comments from the ones that stand on their soap boxes and thump their bibles. It's pathetic how little tolerance Christians have for non-Christians yet alone atheists.

Neither one. I think that if they truly have a chance to know God and reject him, they might die and remain dead, but if they have circumstances which prevent them from knowing Him, they will probably be resurrected and given a chance.
