I believe that such people just use this forum to vent their own frustrations and inadequacies.
I think this forum particularly attracts people whose minds are filled with hate, and who better to take it out on than those whose minds are not.
I ignore them and feel sorry for them.
There is no law against selfdemeaning, so let them get on with it.

One would assume that the disdain and sarcasm would be directed at the people who believe in god for it is they that insist on imposing their will on others.
God hasn't said a peep and is not interested in forcing his will on to others, so I can't see why anyone would be sarcastic toward him/her/it.

It's not directed at God. It's not even directed at believers. It's directed at the arrogant, pushy, self-righteous, "holier than thou" believers who find it necessary to shove what THEY believe in the faces of everyone. It's directed at the people who spread lies about evolution and answer every opposing view with metaphorical gibberish or "you're going to hell!" No one has a problem with people worshipping privately or believing in the Bible; it's the aggressive and intolerant ones that come off as irritating, and understandably so.

My disdain and sarcasm is directed at people who ask questions that are stupid. That is to say, people who have already answered their own questions, or are asking questions simply to seek attention. I don't care what their beliefs are. As far as God is concerned (or what ever you believe), we are on our own terms.

Go to Jail, Go directly to Jail, Do not Pass Go, Do not collect 200.
This is how we feel when you theists tell us atheist that we are "Going to Hell." for something that WE BELIEVE IN. Lucky for us, we know there isn't a hell, so we are not afraid. For you to think objectively about your religion would shake the foundation of your "faith." That doesn't say alot about your "Faith."
It is mainly directed toward the one's that are mean to us, give us thumbs down for being honest, and the one's who aren't objective toward their own beliefs.

Your god doesn't exist. So why would it be directed at your god?
