we don't know, we don't much about jesus's life as the only years we know of him are:

his birth.
13 or 14 -- when he was caught in the temple with the prophets

and 30--> 33 A.D.

Those are pretty large gaps.
If I was going to life my life so vicariously through the life of someone, wouldn't you want to know a little bit more about him?
