I dont want us to get propositioned the entire trip because we're a younger couple... We dont swing. Are there any sort of keys-terms or things we should be aware of to avoid having an awkward question.
If someone asks my boyfriend to "swap" or "swing", he's probably going to swing his fist into their head.

From the boyfriend:
We're young enough to be the most physically attractive people on the cruise. Old enough to enjoy all of the benefits of being "of age".
And no, it doesn't matter how old I get. If someone propositions my wife with sex, their chances of getting knocked upside the head are high. It's one thing to pay a compliment in a gentlemanly fashion, it's another to be a d-bag.

Unless you're going on a special charter with exclusively swingers...nope!
You will only get hit on, if you flirt with someone who is looking for some action. Just act responsibly and maturely, and you won't have any worries. Of course, I would advise your bf to grow up before going on such a vacation, imo. He sounds a bit too possessive.

You'll see more older people on cruise ships then young studs like you. No there are no swingers, no there are no big parties with sex, booze, drugs. Cruise ships are for everyone. They are well run and most people behave. Of course you can dance on the dance floor and flirt, nothing wrong with that. Ans if you are single and meet another single girl/boy and you both want to make out, that's possible too. Just like in any other situation. Go on a cruise, find out what it is all about and do not be surprised if your cruise is a quiet, relaxing trip. Bon voyage.

Generally there arent swingers on cruise ships, the exception wuold be if a swinger society has boked the ship. There are of course a lot of singles on a cruise, but no sex in public space (there is no guaranti for what drunk people could do of course). A cruise is one of the safest and less harasfree holidays in the world. That is because
everyone aboard has either paid the cruise fee or is a emploee of the cruise line. No one else get on the ship. And there is a lot of familys cruising with a lot of kids on almost every cruiseship there is.

They have already attacked the big cruiseliners. They even shot up one of them with AK 47s. When the ship didn't heave-to, the terrorists fired rocket propelled grenades at the vessel. Fortunately the RPGs were so old that they were duds upon impact. The pirates weren't able to board the cruise liner because they couldn't reach the deck from their vessel. The cruiseliner escaped with only minor damage to the hull and no casualties. Cruise liners now have non-violent weaponry, most specifically a polarized sound beam emitter that basically shake a pirate vessel as if it where sitting next to a roaring jet engine, forcing the bad guys to retreat. The cruise ship companies don't want their clients to know about the their defensive capabilities, fearing that will scare away customers.

LMAO. You are from the US, aren't you ?
Unless you are on a special theme cruise in the tropics, cruise ships are hardly the big orgy that some people think of it as. Majority of the cruisers will probably need medical aid to sustain that sort of activities. LOL
So regardless how high in the god or godess level you are, sexually related propositions are highly unlikely. I would worry more about over endulgance in the food catogory than the sex if I were you.

What you imagine is just not happening. From what I have heard don't cruise on Carnival. I have cruised with Celebrity and NCL and it was great, people stick with the people they are cruising with and I had some nice conversations with fellow cruisers. Like someone else said, the problem is eating too much food!

No! Not unless it is a themed cruise. (There are gay cruises, etc). Stick with a cruise line for the mature like Celebrity or Norwegian. Carnival is known for its wild parties - I would never cruise with them.
Your comment cracks me up - "We're young enough to be the most physically attractive people on the cruise". There are plenty of very attractive people who cruise. On my last cruise one of our tablemates was an actress from England who was very beautiful. Cruise ships are not full of silver-haired people with walkers.

Dear BF. I do smile at attractive women even when I am with my GF. I am not tall- big-or macho----but you would not care to aggravate or try to intimidate me as I have a 2nd drgree black in Karate and you will be embarrassed and get hurt.. It is always best and just smile and take it as a compliment for in a few years when you are OLD no one will give her a second glance much less that a first look> BTW i am an ols fart at 62 , but still look at the attractive and shapely women. My GF is in her late 40's tall- thin shapely and still turn heads....what a compliment !!!!

Noooooo....definitely not. My wife (who I might add is quite the looker, and not just because it's my own opinion) and I were never once asked anything like that at all on any cruise we've been on.
Of course, if you want to avoid that entirely, go on a Disney cruise....doubt Disney'd tolerate a big orgy going on in any of their rooms due to their "family" oriented atmosphere.
