It starts as a small grey bump that looks like a scar of some sort. After a few weeks it develops a black or white head, and when you squeeze it a hard greyish white core comes out of it, similar to when you squeeze a blackhead. Is this just a normal pimple or blackhead that takes awhile to develop or is it something entirely different? What causes this?

It might be a sebaceous cyst. Basically, randomly displaced matter from elsewhere in the body shows up in one spot and gets a little infected, swells a little and then you pop it and it goes away.
Be careful though, sometimes after you drain them they can get infected for real.

You do not say where on the breasts, nipple or just skin. It is apparent you have inclusion cysts of hair follicles with sebaceous material being expressed. if the same ones keep recurring have them excised.
