I'm going to my boyfriend's home town this weekend and since his ex is friends with all his home town friends, we'll probably run into her. They're not super close but they talk every now and then. I feel like she's really condecending about me when she leaves comments on his MySpace page, so I kind of really don't like her. When I meet her I want to be able to say something aside from "nice to meet you." Something that's kind of a slam but a backhanded one so I don't come off bitchy. Any ideas?

say something like "oh, you are totally NOT what I expected" It's very vague and she could take it either way. Or don't say anything at all to her, why give her the time of day.

Well, I'm a classy lady so my advice to you is not to say anything. If she wants to act ignorant and be condescending that is her choice but I would never stoop to her level. She is probably expecting some type of confrontation. Instead I woud be very confident and unassuming in front of her. Now if this was happening to me I'd invite her out to eat with us so that she could really have time to sit there with us and wish she had him back. Not only can you play her game but you can definitely beat her at it. I would not show one sign of jealousy or anything close to it... afterall he is your boyfriend right?

Just say Hi and walk away. Why would you want to lie and say "nice to meet you" when you clearly don't like her. Anyway, why spend your energy on her? Also, she may even be thinking the same to do to you so don't give her the chance and avoid further contact with her after the "Hello-Goodbye" thing.

It is your boyfriend that maintains a relationship as a friend to her. Now is a good time to practice getting along without trouble. I have aleways been polite to my ex-husbands wife. In time she changed her attitude for the better. Being catty will always come back to scratch you.

How about "hi, nice to meet you." and then leave it at that. Like someone up there said, kill her with kindness and be the better person. Then only one person goes to bed knowing their a ***** at night.

Why not just ignore her and enjoy yourself? The two of fighting will never bring closure to their relationship and you run the risk of pushing them back together again.Just let it(their break up) rest in peace, cause your the apple of his eye now.Just say hello and move on if you do see her.

Make shure you have as much fun as you can. Don't fallow her game rules....let her fallow yours. she will see at the end and turn red in anger that she didn't get her way this time, be smart. Be playfull with your man and tease around pretend as if she is not even around and you'll see who is getting the last laugh at the end

Just be normal and treat like any other friends of your boyfriend. Afterall she is just an "ex".. the past of your boyfriend's life. You are the "present"!!! Enjoy yourself !!!

Hi. That's all. One word then forget her. It's not worth it.
You'll be the one who looks bad to all his friends if you insult any one of them.
Tell your boyfriend"she's pretty .no wonder you dated her."
He'll probably tell you why he likes you better.

WHY DONT YOU AND YOUR BOYFRIEND PLAN TO GO ON THE TRIP AND GET HER ALL EXCITED AS IF YOURE GONNA SHOW UP BUT THEN AT THE LAST MINUTE JUST SWITCH OUT. NOW THAT'LL BE A SLAP IN THE FACE OR SHALL I SAY EYE-BALL.
