Do you classify your words by letters ? Please tell me which word is that in order to answer.
Strictly speaking, it would be: "le mot b"

chienne is a female dog and not a curse at all
putain salope could be used for that word
for another b word the male one salaud or con is more likely - but really if you are going to swear at someone in French be prepared for retaliation you won't appreciate!

Chienne

Chien is a dog, male. Chienne is female. When I was in 5th grade, a teacher used to call the kids in her class "enfants de chiennes" thinking none of us understood. She was a nun. At least one of us understood.

I would say "putain" (whore) in France
and, for french-canadians, it would be "pute" or "enfant de chienne"... (would be translate by bastard)
