Let me start off by saying I'm not totally Catholic yet. I'm in the process of converting to Roman Catholicism, though.

A) Abortion is wrong, as it is deliberate murder. We believe that God gives the human their soul at conception, not birth, thus making any abortions wrong.

B) The Eucharist literally becomes the Blood and Body of Christ, only retaining the appearance of wine and bread. The Eucharist should only be consumed when one's 'slate is clean', in that the person receiving Holy Communion has confessed all mortal sins to their priest, and it is recommended all venial sins confessed to God. To receive Communion as well, one must believe that It literally becomes Christ's Blood and Body.

A. It is unfortunate and sad that some women have to resort to terminating their pregnancies for whatever reason or situation they are in.

B. The Eucharist truly is a "thanksgiving" in which we remember the ultimate sacrifice that our Savior made because of our sins. I also believe that is truly the Body and Blood of Christ (not Jesus; Jesus was 100% human while Christ is 100% God, hence Jesus Christ was both 100% human AND 100% God at the same time). I also believe that the Eucharist unites all of us with the communion of saints (and by saints I mean all of God's children past, present, and future).

We believe abortion is a sin because all human life is sacred from conception to natural death. I am wholeheartedly in agreement with this teaching.

We believe the Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus Christ. We believe that God changes it into the body and blood of Christ during the mass just as He did for Jesus at the Last Supper. We believe it is more than just a symbol. I believe that God does transform the host. I can't say diffinitively that it becomes flesh and blood but it definately becomes spiritual food.

+ Pro-Life +

The Catholic Church is not just against abortion, it is pro-life in the widest sense. This is often called a "Consistent Ethic of Life."

This pro-life stance stresses the highest regard for dignity of human life including that of:
- All people in objecting to unjust war and nuclear arms.
- The unborn in objecting to to abortion, in fitro fertilization, frozen embryos, embryonic stem cell research, and cloning
- The elderly, sick and dying in objecting to assisted suicide and euthanazia
- Prisoners in objecting to the death penalty
- The poor and minorities in supporting social justice issues.

+ Eucharist +

At the Last Supper, Jesus said, “Take this bread. It is my body.” Then he said, “Take this and drink. This is my blood. Do this in memory of me.”

Catholics believe this was the First Eucharist, that through some miracle the bread and wine actually became the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

Catholics reenact the Last Supper during every Mass, where God, acting through the priest, changes the bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

This is a great sacrament of thanksgiving and unity of Catholics.
