SmartMedia memory is no longer manufactured. Secure Digital memory killed it. Most stores no longer sell it and only eBay seems to have a supply of cards available. However, be prepared to pay for the memory. The law of supply and demand has increased the cost of SmartMedia memory to more than double the cost is was available new.

My recommendation would be to sell your C720 and existing memory on a site like eBay and then purchase a newer camera that uses SD memory. I was able to sell my two 64MB and one 128MB SmartMedia cards on eBay for $97 (US) and then sold my D550 separately for another $60. I picked up a used Canon for $58 and 1GB of SD memory for $20. So I make money on the deal.

I usually shop for electronics at the pet store. When I need a new dog collar, I go to Circuit City, Best Buy, or CompUSA. www.bhphotovideo.com has very good prices on dog collars.

I don't know why Smart Media cards are so hard to find,
but they are. I got a couple on ebay at a pretty good price.
I wish they would make one larger than a 128. Don't pay
over 50.00 for one, keep shopping. Do a google search
and see if you can find one for less but I doubt it. Good Luck

Go to the Olympus website and find one there.
