There is a way that won't only help with a name but will also make someone close feel very appreciated. With all my girls we came up with a first name, a Polynesian first name, middle and of course our last name. My four year old is Jazmine-Lala Elizabeth Laub. The Lala is my wife's moms name in Polynesian. For my son that is due in January we have come up with Matiu, which is my name translated and we are deciding on which grandpa for the middle name. With boys names it has been a tradition I guess to keep the grandparents names around. My brothers middle names are all from grandparents and their dad. So for the first name I would go with a grandpa's name somewhere up the line or his fathers name in another language.

Well, when in doubt you could always look backa nd name him after someone. It doesn`t even have to be someone in the family. It coudl be a personal hero of your`s or you could even look at the names of actors, singers, people who you used to know, or many other places and see if a name sticks out.

I do have a site listed in sources for you to try if what I said doesn`t help. You can look by first letter, nationality, or popularity.

I hope something that I said helped. And congratulations!!

I named my little boy after his cousin. I just changed it up a little bit. His middle name is Cole, so I didn't want it to be that exactly. So, I added a t and spelld it with a K(Kolt). His middle name, Weston, we got out of a phone book. It was a last name. Everyone we meet loves Kolt Weston. It's unique and strong. Look up last names. They make up cool names. How about your mother's maiden name? I like Tate, Gibson, Harrison, Tucker, Trenton and Eli...congrats, there is nothing better than being a parent. Good luck.

names I like and suggest are:
1. Dylan
2. Justin
3. James
4. Austin
5. Brandon

hope some of those help. It took me a long time too to find the perfect name.....that was always the hardest thing for me. Well enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and I wish you the best of luck finding that perfect name.

What about a JR. ? Named after the babies daddy? Or maybe your fathers name or a grandpa. Just another little suggestion :)

Don't do a name that is creative if you want your child to be sucessful. Eventually the child with have to grow up and make a living in the world. So stick to common names and don't make up your own by swapping letters (stay away from Caden, Jaden, etc.) Also, try to make a name that fits your culture. (A white kid named Shakira or José would have some problems).

However, this is not to say that you have to name your child one of the top two names. There are plenty of rare but perfectly acceptable names like Henry, Victor, and Harry.

The site I posted below is great.

Kids don't want to be different or unique! Please stay away from names nobody's ever heard of. They will not be happy with you when they come home from school and the teacher calling out their name in the awards ceremony had to stop the whole affair and ask their teacher how to pronounce their name! Trust me on this!!!! My name is Xaden. Pronounced Zay-den. Kids called me Satan. I recently got out of the penitentiary for killing my parents. Ok, that's false, but we really weren't on good terms throughout my high-school years, all because of the name they gave me. If you want to be different, how about Caleb. That's not used much but it's a biblical name and most people have heard of it. I can't count high enough to count the times I wish I were named John, or Paul, or George, or even Ringo. Your kids don't want to be different!!!!!!!!!!!!!
