I use Acronis Disk Director to manage my hard drive. It's very reliable and fully-featured software that can be used for many purposes. One can resize, move, copy, split, and merge partitions without any data loss, also one can run and manage multiple operating systems and recover accidentally deleted partition using the utilities of ADD. most new hard drives will come with software to do this... Partition magic is fairly popular...

for partition Fdisk is standard and best. its easy to use, all the menu options are self explanatory in it so no need for any additional help.
