A man my Mom has met boasts of travel around the world, including Italy & Jamaica. His multitude of professions includes: Authur, Boxer, Diver, Professor, Boat Captain & Marine Biologist. You get my point! I am truely concerned for my Mother's well being!! As this gentleman portrayed himself as a Christian man, yet I see no signs of spirituality in his life nor in his boastful conversations. How can I prove or disprove this mans statements? And more importantly his TRUE intentions? Issued Passports? Or what? His name is; Joseph (G?) Strykowski, DOB 3/13/1935. ANY information or answers you could provide me with would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, TJK

Yea, I hate to say it but I think this is something your mom has to go through herself. Just a lesson she has to learn. You can let her know how you feel, but you know she'll defend him. But you just be there for her later. I truly hope this all turns out ok, it sucks that you have to watch your mom go through this.

Found this on a quick web search of his name: interesting similarities, isn't it. Could be the same guy, or someone masquarading as him.

Becuase of his age it is possible but to be a professor and a Marine biologist requires certificates authenticated by some university ask him to show you these.a passport wont say much just where he has been in the last 10 years .A lot of people call themselves christian but saying it and living it are very different .

You could look up any information you could find through a genology website on this person - as it might lead you to know whether or not this is a stolen identity.

Gently advise your mother, but otherwise stay out of it.
If he turns out to be as much of a jerk as you think, then your mom will need your support when it all falls apart. Right now, even if you hand her evidence, she probably won't believe you, and will stop listening to you.

You could have the police do a background check on him or hire a private detective to look into his background to make sure that he is legit.
