Can I play my DS on an airplane?

I won't be using Wi-Fi or playing with a friend that also has a DS. Upon theory I should be okay to use it while in the air. Should I use my GBA instead?

Turn off Wifi and you can play your DS, but not during take off and landing.

If you can turn of the WiFi, go ahead and bring it. If you can't, stick with the GBA.
