LOL, I was the exact opposit. I freaked out when a test or exams came and usually fell asleep with all my notes and books on my bed. Test anxiety I do have. I took school very serious in the beginning and then I dragged, then I had massive anxiety attacks because I was not prepared . When I felt I was prepared I freaked out and forgot everything. In the end I did pass, and graduate months ago but I sure wouldn't want to do this again. If you already know the work then it's ok to slack off but if you do not, take it from me, cramming is so overwhelming, try to do a little each day and remind yourself why you are in school in the first place. Think of that degree and of those who may not think you can do it. Think of the potentially wealthy lifestyle you can live once you get that degree and get that super job. Think about the new car or truck you will be able to afford or about getting out of wherever you are and traveling. Just to make it through school is a huge thing and I want to say, way to go! Now pick up your books and learn something new so that you can teach others(like me) what we don't know! Remeber you are a student and a teacher, lets go, get back to the books and have some fun!

first of all we all get in that state of mind some time you say the you are in a BIS course so i can understand why you fell that way. ON the flip side maybe you need one weekend where you just spend time on you. GO have fun maybe a movie out on a date with a girl/boy take a while to have fun. We often feel like sometimes we have to give up you have worked very hard to get where you are today are what veer the case may be you just need time to snap into reality that you are hear nad yo ucan do this. I was in my sophmore year of college i got really stressed out. Then i relized that beacause i was stressed out it reflectred on how much i studied some day i did not study and some day i felt restliss too. I couldnt concentrate what i did that has helped me alot is make sure that each week i ghave a time maybe an hour are four to make sure that check myself. Every time that you study make sure that you tell your self that you will treat your self to alone time...

Try to get in lots of quick 15 minute sessions, with no distractions (maybe the bathroom, lol... then maybe for 15 min before a meal... just work them in somewhere.) Then after the 15 min put away the studying for a while and concentrate on something completely different (check email, make a phone call) We just learned in my Psychology class that studying/memorizing and retaining info works better by "chunking" the information into little pieces, steadily over time- works much better than trying to cram everything in right before a test. Also the hour before you sleep is good but don't try to study right at bedtime. Good Luck!

Usually people get nervous when something very big is coming up and i think thats what the problem is. Maybe im wrong. But just focus on studying and nothing else. Eat healthy and right and get enough sleep and keep telling yourself that you need this and you can't slack off. Just think something bad will happen if you don't so you will focus on studying more. And i hope this helps for you because usually when i have to study for something big thats what i do and it works. But good luck.

Relax, I'm not in this for the 10 points. Some people must study was ahead of the exams, others do it overnight. You don't have to be the same as others. If you know you have done your best (honestly), that's all anyone can do! Relax! grades alone do not make up the whole person!

Maybe it's not that important to you anymore. Maybe whatever you are studying does not interest you. The
fact you aren't worried about the exams isn't a bad thing,
most people would love to not be worried about an exam.
Take yourself a break and do something you like and then
you might feel like studying, Good Luck !!!!!

I don't need 10 points. I have almost 11,000 points. What is happening is your true self is taking greater control of you. It does not care about exams. When you are on your death bed almost about to die, how important will the exams be.
Do you think the people in the world trade centers thought about their exams right before they died? See this webpage below to understand what is happpening to you and why. It tells all about you. Also tension makes you do worse not better on exams.

Milan- your mental position is chronic to severe. If your near your exams and have no pretensions there is nothing to understand. Obviously you are experimenting with words in order to have fellowship in confusion and mediocrity.
Not many people, human beings- that is, really know nor have fluid understanding of what is going on in their minds. If you were reading nicely, why did you stop to write your question posted above?
Thank you for your cooperation.

I understand exactly what you are going through because Im going through the same things. Its getting closer to the holidays and I just want to get the semester over and go home. So I find that thinking about next semester and the goals that I hold for it motivates me to work harder to pass this semesters courses.
Hope this helps some.
