I dont want a clunker jus somthing that works well, but dosent cost tons of money. Keep in mind, I am a teen and I dont have a large montly income.

That question is really impossible to answer. You can find a used car that runs for 500 bucks, or you can buy a used car for 200,000 dollars. What kind of car do you want? How much money do you have to spend?

For a teenager, I'd suggest something along the lines of a Saturn. Cheap, easy to maintain, and while not particularly safe, not a sportscar or an easily-flipped SUV either. Go with something between 5-8 years old, with less than 100,000 miles on the odometer, and get a carfax report before buying. Have fun.

There is no "average price" for a used car. A used car could cost you anywhere from free all the way up to too damn much.

I think the question you need to ask is how much can you afford to spend and then determine what is available from that point. Don't forget to figure in insurance and operating costs.

Probably around $2000-$3000 for a dependable vehicle.

$2000-4000 would get you something that runs, with some life left in it

honda civics are fairly in expensive and will last you. you can get one for about $3,000(give or take)
