I speak spanish and I just call it cuarto de computadora. Cuarto is another word for room. Family room is la sala. If it's for a spanish class then these might not be considered "proper" spanish. Like dormitorio, that's the proper name for bedroom but I never really hear people refer to it by that they just call it cuarto. Hope this helps!

I'm Cuban so I'm answering the question using the Spanish used in Cuba. It may be different in Mexico,Argentina,Spain,etc...
Computer Room-Cuarto de computadora.
Cuarto is Room. Recamera or Dormitorio is bedroom.
Family Room-Cuarto de familia.
Sala-living room.
English to Spanish is tricky, things have to be flipped around and when you translate them literary they change the meaning.
Bye.

In South America a room with a computer in it is called "la oficina" or "estudio" it's not really called cuarto de computadora because that says " room of computer" And they don't have family rooms either, families usually get together in the living room which is sala, "sala familiar" sounds good.

well actually depends on what spanish you are referring to, mexican, spanish, argentinian, it changes a lot depending on where you are, I speak spanish and I'd never say "cuarto de la computadora" or "estancia familiar", in argentina for example people use "oficina" (office) or "estudio" (yeap, studio) when they talk about the room where the computer is. What is this thing you need for?

You can say either "cuarto de computadoras" (if the computer is in one room in your house)or "sala de computadoras" (if the computers are in a school room or in an office building).
You can not say "cuarto de computadora" you need to add "la". so the correct form is "cuarto de la computadora".
If the computers are in a school or office you can not say "sala de computadora" You need to say "sala de computadoras" (plural), or "sala de la computadora" .
Family room is "estancia familiar".

Se dice "Sala de Computadora".
If it is an internet cafe, puedes decir "cafe cibernetico"
The closest thing to family room is "Sala Familiar" o "sala commun" I mean "family room" does not really exist in spanish but those are the translations when one has to translate.
