I recently met this lady. I'm 31, she's 25. We had been talking online and met up at a little bar then went and got something to eat. We talked for several hours. The next night we went out again and it seems as if we both had a really good time, I know I did and I'm very interested in her. We are supposed to go out again this coming weekend. My question here is....If we go out a few more times and everything keeps going really good (maybe it develops into something) should I invite her to Thanksgiving dinner. I know for sure my family would totally approve of it. She's not from the area where we live therefore she has no family around. She doesn't plan on going home due to work. Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away so I'm not sure if it would be appropriate to invite her since her and I just met. If I do invite her at what point should I do that, should I do it a couple weeks in advance or wait 'till just a few days prior to the holliday??? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't know, Thanksgiving is a little formal. Have you already bought a ring? I think you're rushing things just a bit. If you were going to a Thanksgiving get-together with friends and everything was casual, It would be okay to invite her. Family holidays are for steady significant others.

you should invite her, what could it hurt, its thanksgiving. if she doesnt have anyone to spend it with and you guys enjoy eachothers company - why not. I would if i were you... ask her when you feel comfortable or maybe a week before not to soon and not too late ... good luck

I would not wait too long. She might make other plans if you do. So ask what's the worst that could happen....she might not be ready and in that case maybe next year. good luck hope it all works out

I say do it. Since she doesn't have any family around I know she will appreciate the gesture of kindness. That would be a very heart warming thing to do.

Don't do it if she has a place to go. Find that out first. Otherwise, it would be rude not to!

I would ask her and give her enough time to prepare her needs, such as clothing etc.
If you ask and then have a problem, call it off.
