Yes you can drink Sangria from a straw, but it is actually better drinking it normal...from the glass. Reason being you get more of the flavor at once and your taste buds will thank you for it.

An alcoholic version of an Arnold Palmer (lemonade and iced tea) is called a John Daily (alcoholic golfer) Lemonade with Absolut Citroen vodka, instead of iced tea use sweet tea vodka. Serve in a tumbler on the rocks. Very refreshing. Also try Stoli vanilla vodka and ginger ale. It tastes almost like a cream soda.

I'm a server at O'Charley's. We don't serve our alcoholic drinks with straws, but I've NEVER said no to a guest that's asked for one. I'm a straw fan myself. It's all a personal preferance. Try it with a straw. And I agree, always ask for extra fruit. If you let them soak in your drink, you're in for a treat when you're finished. Bottoms up!!
