They sometimes get teased by their friends for not being capable in doing physical exercise and simply just for being fat or for eating too much. But one needs to know which friend are just joking and which are being mean. Usually obesity are caused by doting parents who thinks that making their child obese means that they really care about their child. All kids cry for food as a toddler, but parents need to make their stand clear and be mindful of how much the child really needs to keep healthy and fit. So I guess, society should start at these parents first and then the children when they grow a little older and are more mindful about their surroundings

Better PE programs and maybe exercising activities on the weekends at schools. The kids love racing and competing.
Have fair days and sack races etc.....

Find out what makes the obese kids eat. Is it comfort food? Get them in counseling is a good idea. Early though.

kids are so cruel when they tease obese kids...and some even get homeschooled because of the teasing and abusing and verbal abuse. It is devastating to the child who is getting picked on. Unless they have a great sense of humor or personality, it is hard for them to make friends and be accepted.

alot. ridicule. stares, points, laughs.

THey may be embarressed to dress for gym class. Sad because they fear boys/girls wont like them.

THe best way to fight obesity is to snip it at the source. Teach them nondestructive eating habits when they are young.

you wont be included in the popular group, you will be teased and laughed at, you wont get dates, etc, to combat it you need to train your children from birth to eat proper foods in proper ammounts and get lots of exercise, and have lots of social exposure to other children in their age group so that they dont feel like an outcast and have nothing to do but eat. get them in baseball , swimming and dance classes to make sure they have regular exercise as well as social exposure at the same time.
