Your cats are normal. Sometimes it takes up to six months or more for the neuter effect to take complete hold. And, your cats are socialized to play rough and simply enjoy beating the heck out of each other, stalking each other and running each other out of favorite places....I bet they also spend time sleeping together and grooming one another. They will naturally calm down as they get older -- until then keep them busy and occupied -- cats are easily bored. Empty boxes, bags, a ball of socks, coils of ribbon might distract them, an empty basket with a towel in an unusual place. While cat toys are good things -- it seems they prefer the ordinary to amuse themselves.
No fear though, your cats are normal. What you can expect to happen is for one cat to pull out and dominate the other at some point -- but you never know. They may both insist on the Alpha Cat position.....
And -- on the extreme side -- plant them some cat nip -- that should calm them down and give them some enjoyment.
Happy Tails!

I adopted a brother and sister several years ago and they always fought. They tolerated each other most of the time, but the brother would always pick on his sister and away they'd go.
Everyone who responded is right, as soon as the testerone level drops and they get a bit older and the kitten play is out of them, they will probably be best buds, except for those times they just need to play and fight. Cats playing can sometimes look and sound really nasty and mean, but to them it's play.

It could just be that they have chronic sibling rivalry, or after all the time you've had them, they are still working out the Alpha male issue. As long as they don't hurt each other, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have 2 female sisters that are the same way. They hiss and spit and roll around, have for years. Maybe they will calm down after the testosterone level drops?

how long did you wait before you got them neutered? they can be neutered as early as 5 months. they probably had the habit to long and one of them needs to be top cat and it seems they are both fighting for that title.get a spayed female. dont put them altogether give them time to smell and see each other before introducing them face to face and than watch them close for awhile. try putting a little vanilla on both the male cats noses not in the holes. see how they act than. they need to be distracted from the fighting also use the vanilla on all the cats if you get a female before introducing them

How old are they, and how long have they been neutered. The older they are before they are neutered, the more set in their ways they are. Also, it takes 3-4 weeks for the body to shed the testosterone that is already there. Are the fights serious, or are they just playing too rough?

High voltage has been successful for me in the past. You may think I don't like cats, but that is not true. I've got many recipes to share.

Their behavior is hardwired into their brains now.
They are neutered as young as 4 months.
I think that you waited too late.
Try catnip.
