I've eaten dried meat off a fishes head. Yep, just think beef jerky only a fishes head with eyes. It sounds nasty and smells even nastier but the taste was pretty good.

HAGGIS !!! of course

Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish. Although there are many recipes, it is normally made with the following ingredients: sheep's 'pluck' (heart, liver, and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach for approximately an hour. It somewhat resembles stuffed intestines (pig intestines otherwise known as chitterlings), sausages and savoury puddings of which it is among the largest types. Most modern commercial haggis is prepared in a casing rather than an actual stomach. There are also meat-free recipes specifically for vegetarians which supposedly taste similar to the meat-based recipes.
Haggis is traditionally served with "neeps and tatties" (Scots: turnip and potatoes), each of these being mashed, separately. (The "neep" is the yellow vegetable called 'swede' in England and 'rutabaga' in the United States.)

It's not really "exotic" but I -really- like raw steak ... I realize it's a very bad idea and I try not to indulge very often but every now and then I just can't -help- but cut myself off a nice bit of raw steaky goodness if I'm making a steak at home ...

On the "exotic" front, hmm ... I had kangaroo once and quite liked that ... and I -love- rose-flavored lassi (that Indian yogurt drink), it's just so floral and delightful ... and I'm not sure how "exotic" this is but daifuku, those sweet bean paste-filled 'glutinous' dumplings you can sometimes get at a Japanese store, are sheer and utter joy to me =)

particular. i've got no longer had cockroach, yet octopus isn't an unique nutrition right here in Italy. i've got had a number of nutrition the place each and all of the courses had tentacles different than dessert. Cuttlefish, squid and octopus are very undemanding right here. Frog legs - particular a number of situations. i like them. yet another factor this is undemanding right here in Italy which you will evaluate unique is horse or donkey. There are a number of shops and a piece interior the groceries specializing in horse meat. Stracotto di Somaro with polenta is quite everyday only north of the place I stay. Rabbit is likewise quite undemanding. i've got additionally had whale, rattlesnake, alligator, and snails in distinctive varieties.

Wallaby, Emu and Kangaroo are all tasty.
Crocodile is very very nice.
I don't like Sea Urchin.
Raw squid is okay.
Raw Salmon, Tuna and Mackarel is mighty tasty.
"Blue" beef (ie raw in the middle) is good.
Sheeps brains are nice.
Frogs legs and snails are okay, but they put so much garlic on them, that's pretty much what you taste.

There is a restaurant in the city where I live that has monkey's brains. I've yet to try it.
I have been told Cow's tongue is nice if you cook it a certain way.
My parents eat chicken stomachs and chicken feet.

I have been vegetarian for 4 years now but before I was I had a crocodile pie (at least that's what they told me it was). I felt queasy at first but once I actually it with tomato sauce, it was identical to chicken pie. Strangely enough, it wasn't too bad.
Contrary to the prio comment, kangaroo is gross!!! all stringy and tough and gamey and besides, it's wrong to eat the coat of arms.

Try escargot (snails cooked in garlic butter). It's actually not that bad! Go to a good restaurant if you're going to try it, though. You don't want the escargot overcooked or else they taste quite rubbery

This was before I saw my mom chopping up a 3 foot purple toungue...and then I learned that cows use their toungues like a tissue.
