I am the most STUPID/BORING girlfriend in the freakin history or the freakin world!!!!!
I am in 7th grade. I am with my 2nd boyfriend. He is such a sweetheart (he is 14) and VERY polite......but SO shy!!! I am not usually shy, but I am around him. We hug, and hold hands, and it's sometimes awkward. He just called me to actually "talk" for the 1st time in our almost 3 week realtionship. (pathetic, but, hey)
I MADE SUCH A FREAKIN IDIOT OF MYSELF!!!
We had SO many awkward moments, cuz neither of us could think of anything to say! After small-talking for about 15 minuets, he finally used the "my mom is calling me" excuse!!!
QUESTION: Should I find some things to talk about, and call him back??! I HATE it ending like this, and me feeling like an idiot, when i might be able to do something about it.
Please help me, and if you are going to tell me I am "too young!" then don't bother answering.....

Okay, you did NOT make an idiot of yourself. He was every bit as uncomfortable as you (probably more so). I wouldn't call him back. You might scare him. Just pretend nothing happened when you see him. If you are a couple, you should probably have something in common, thus something to say to each other. Maybe you're just with him because he's really cute? You'll get tired of that eventually.

Yeah, jot down some things y'all can discuss...school subjects, hobbies, sports, anything you know he likes or is interested in...then, since it's late (or it is here in the Central Time zone) perhaps wait and call him tomorrow...
Sometimes trying to talk to someone can be tough...it happens to adults too...I've been on a number of dates where the conversation was strained, the pauses were long, and you could tell we both just wanted it to end because we were uncomfortable but didn't want to be rude and rush off soon...

No, don't do that. His Mom probably was calling him. Chalk it up to having nothing to talk about because you don't know what to talk about yet. Can't you just be yourself and find out about each other?

jsut keep at it. over time u with both get use to eachother and be more open. and once inawhile there still will be nothin much to say. when u think of stuff jsut say it more u lighten up the more he will

think of something to talk about and call him back things like school Friends,music, things you like to do on the weekend, sports favor ate teams etc,

open up with him...ask him question about his day and past...like where some of his favorte places as a young child were...i once went on 8 hours just talk with my gf about things lik that
