There is no reason to believe Charles Darwin had saving faith although you can never be certain what ones decides at the end of their life and perhaps calls on the Lord, There are some urban ledgends surroundign death bed conversions of famous people but doubtful many of them are true, but possible

"whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" "today is the day of salvation" don't put it off tomorrow may never come

in the case of Stalin there is a report by a close relative that on Stalin's deathbed he felt he was chased by wolves... he liftedted his fist in the air and shook it at God and then died... so... often times peole who turned away from God in life remain bitter to their last breath, sadly. This has been reported by writing of Ravi Zacharias who spoke with one of the descendants.

just because he was an evolutionist, does not necessarily mean he does not believe in god. You can believe in god, even if you disagree with the creation theory. Only you can choose what parts of the bible or religion that you believe and interpret to be true. If Darwin really did believe in god, then he would believe that he has a soul, and that he will be in heaven.

Yes. Anyone who was so awestruck by the beauty of the world and who responded to that awe with an inquisitive heart shows clear evidence of soul.

I don't pretend to know, but I like to think that all of those people who added to human self-understanding are gathered to our ancestors in halls of light.

No one gets to Heaven without Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We can only hope that in his final hours he changed and by faith put his trust in Jesus.

One thing for sure, where ever his soul is, he is no longer an evolutionist, he is sure that God does in fact exist.

Every person has a soul.
Charles Darwin recanted his theory of evolution and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior before he died.
