I stress some Christians, because I know not all Christians think this way.

I believe every action one takes has a conciquence, and the conciquences of ones actions can be good or bad depending on the action one takes, but I fail to see why there are those who think that some one like me is either nuts or as stated by one responder not wanting to take responsability for our actions. We accept that we must face the conciquences of our action should the be harmful to another, but why would one think someone like me is insane for not being a Christian, or in my case for leaving the Christian fold?

Thanks for the vote of confidence!

IDK why anybody would say such a thing. It seems really cruel and bordering on ignorant to me. The early Christians understood very well that they weren't the "ONLY" religion in town. In fact, they were usually the minority! Whoever said this, obviously hasn't read the book of Acts at all...

Quite simply, it comes down to a certain binary mindset that comes as a result of their beliefs.

Their beliefs state that there is only one god - and that anything not of God is of the devil. Since Pagans obviously do not worship God... that means that, according to a very common Christian standpoint, that Pagans worship the devil. Since that standpoint further posits that no one in their right mind would worship the devil... you've got the beginnings of an arguement that Pagans are a bit off their rocker.

Now, add in things such as claims to practicing magic, the Sight, interactions with Otherworldly beings... and the non-mystical folks point towards that being symptoms of being delusional. *Another* check against Pagans.

I don't think that, you have a free will to do whatever..........
I just can't understand why anyone would want to worship a pagan or false God.
I guess it is easier to just worship anything
other than the one true God
No conciquences????
I don't understand that.
I read the Bible and saw what happened then and what will
happen later.......................
Sorry you have had bad experiences with some christians........

Because some of them just cannot conceive of any way other than what they have been taught. Anything outside of their little box is evil. I'm sure narrowed minded people have their place in the world, somewhere.

I think some christians should be placed in asylums, or in a city all their own where they can love Jesus together and leave the rest of us alone.

I'm not sure. Though they should do some research on it. They might be surprised at what they find.
